Description
The Beeches is an early 19th-century building located on South Street. It is constructed of stucco and features a hipped Welsh slate roof with wide eaves cornice and paired brackets. The building has two storeys and includes a first-floor band. The front façade has three hung sash windows in architrave surrounds, with a central window above a closed porch supported by four Doric pillars, which is topped with an entablature and blocking course. The right side of the building is slightly recessed. There are yellow brick wings with two windows each. On the west side, the ground floor has a bay with Doric pilasters at the corners and two three-light sash windows. The north elevation features a full-height segmental bow window.
