Description
This is a large barn incorporating a cottage, dating to the 17th and early 18th centuries. The barn is constructed of coursed stone rubble with quoins, topped with a stone slate roof that has some patching, and features coped gables. The eastern facade has large doors at each end, framed by massive quoins and lintels. A central door, originally also quoined, is now partially filled in with brick and has a window inserted. A projecting section, opposite the central door and formerly a wagon entrance on the west side, is covered by a stone slate roof. A cottage was built into the south end of the barn, likely in the earlier 19th century.
