Description
Somersall Farmhouse is a late 18th-century building that was formerly the coachhouse to the Hall. It is constructed of ashlar stone with quoins and features a central projection beneath a pediment. The farmhouse has two storeys and includes a round blank panel in the tympanum, with two sets of three arched pigeon holes below. The window arrangement consists of two, one, and two Gothic casements, although some Gothic glazing has been removed and the upper left window is now blank. The centre of the building has a three-light sash window set in a former segmental coach arch, with a square-headed sash window beneath a dripstone mould above. The outer doors have plain stone surrounds, with the southern door being blocked. An additional entrance has been created in the south side of the central bay.
