Description
No 2 Somersall Lane is an early 19th-century lodge that forms part of a pair with No 1, located at the entrance to the former drive leading to Somersall Hall. The building is constructed of stucco and features wide eaves. It has a hipped roof made of stone slate, which is shaped at the corners. There is a central stack with diagonal shafts. The lodge is a single storey and has two pointed windows on each side, with cast iron casements set in painted stone architraves. The entrance features a four-centred arched door, contributing to its picturesque appearance.
