Description

This building is an outbuilding, likely dating from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. It is constructed from coursed rubble sandstone with sandstone dressings and features a pantile roof. The structure has three storeys and a basement.

On the north gable end, there is an external flight of stone steps leading to both an upper and a lower doorway, each fitted with a timber lintel and a plank door. The south side of the building has four breather openings on the ground floor, arranged in a pattern of five squares like a dice. Above these, there are two undressed square openings, also with timber lintels. The north elevation includes various small square openings, and below the eaves, there is a pigeon roost that runs around the building.

Inside, the space is divided into four low storeys, the purpose of which is unknown, and it features plain unmoulded timbers.
