Description

This is a barn located to the southeast of number 106 on High Street in Clowne, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone with sandstone dressings and features a pantile roof, which has remains of coped gables with plain kneelers. The barn is a single storey.

On the west elevation, there is a central cart entrance with a timber lintel. To the left of this entrance, there is a rectangular opening with a dressed stone surround, a pair of doorways that have ashlar lintels and jambs, and another similar doorway. One of the doorways is blocked with rubblestone, while the others have plank doors. This barn is included in the listing for its group value only.
