Description

Clowne Fields Farmhouse is a mid-18th-century farmhouse, altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings. The roof is slate, with stone coped gables and brick gable stacks. The west elevation has three symmetrical bays. The central doorway has a plain lintel and rusticated jambs, with a half-glazed door. This is flanked by 19th-century single-bar sash windows set under keyed wedge stone lintels. Above are three similar sash windows.
