Description

Stone Croft is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings and features a pantile roof. The house has brick gable stacks and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. It is two storeys high with a symmetrical three-bay facade. The central doorway has a plain raised stone surround and a moulded hoodmould, and it features a raised and fielded panelled door. On either side of the door are 20th-century top hung casements set in plain 18th-century surrounds with keyed wedge stone lintels. There are three similar windows above the door.
