Description

This is a mile post located on the south side of Kedleston Road in the parish of Weston Underwood. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of cast iron. The mile post has a triangular shape with a sloping upper section and a back plate that features a gabled top. It is inscribed with the following details: "132/LONDON/ HULLAND/WARD/3/MILES/DERBY/6/MILES."
