Description
Hall Close Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick. It features a hipped Welsh slate roof with two brick ridge stacks and two lateral stacks, along with a stone eaves band. The building is three storeys high and has an L-plan layout, with a broad three-bay south elevation. The off-centre doorway has a wedge brick lintel and a 20th-century half-glazed door. To the left of the doorway is a window with a wedge brick lintel and a 20th-century casement, while there are two similar windows to the right. Above, there are three similar windows, and the top floor has three smaller windows under stone lintels, with the centre window featuring a small paned fixed light. Above the door, there is a Phoenix Insurance plaque. Inside, the farmhouse has tall rooms with plain exposed beams and a stick baluster staircase.
