Description
This is a milepost located on Kedleston Road in the parish of Kedleston. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of cast iron. The milepost has a triangular shape, with the upper part sloping down to a gabled back plate. It is inscribed with the following information: "131/LONDON/WESTON/UNDERWOOD/HULLnd/WARD/4/MILES/DERBY/5/MILES."
