Description

The engine house, located by the saw mill in Kedleston Park, is a late 19th-century structure that is currently empty and used for storage. It is built from red brick and features a plain tile roof with a raised ridge ventilator. The building has a free-standing tapering brick stack. The gabled north elevation includes a cart entrance with double doors, flanked by single doorways, each topped with a stone lintel. Above these entrances, there is a single window.
