Description
Stores Cottage and Wilmot Cottage is a house that has been converted into three cottages, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with plain tile roofs, featuring a central brick stack and two gable stacks at the rear. The building has brick bands at both the first and second floors and is two storeys high, arranged in an L-plan.
The south elevation consists of two bays. There is a central blocked doorway with a segment head, to the right of which is a 3-light casement window also under a segment head. To the left, there is a 20th-century bow window, followed by another doorway with a segment head and a 20th-century door. Above, there is one 2-light casement window with a segment head and a similar blocked window. To the left, there is a lower late 18th-century bay featuring a dentil cornice, a 20th-century bow window on the ground floor, and a 2-light window above.
The east elevation has a blocked segment-headed window on the left, while to the right, there is a doorway and a 3-light window, both with segment heads. Above, there are three 2-light windows with segment heads and one in the gable with a flat arch. There is also a late 18th-century bay to the right with three similar windows.
