Gatepiers and walls. c1910, probably by Walter Tapper. Built for the Miller-Mundys of Shipley Hall. Ashlar and rubble sandstone. Central pair of tall square gatepiers with moulded bases and cornices, topped by large ball finials, also with broad pilasters to sides with scrolled tops. Between, are a pair of wooden gates which curved downwards to the centre. To either side of the piers are random rubble walls, with flat copings, which also curve down in a semi-circular shape. These have smaller square piers to either end, only that to south still with its ball finial. Beyond, to south, is another section of wall with semi-circular dip in. Attached to northern pier is a lower random rubble wall which runs westwards and has chamfered copings.
