Description
This is a late 18th-century farm outbuilding located to the west of the stables at Wingfield Hall. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble coal measures sandstone and features quoins, as well as a plain band at the eaves. The building has an asbestos sheet roof.
The east elevation consists of three bays and is a single storey with overlofts. There is a central doorway with a quoined surround and planked doors. The ground floor and lofts have ventilation slits. At the south end, there is a two-bay single storey addition with a slated roof and a coped gable. This addition includes a quoined doorway with a heavy lintel and a single light opening with a plain surround. The building is listed for its group value.
