Description

This is an 18th-century cottage located on the west side of Stapleford Road in Whissendine. The cottage is constructed of rendered and whitewashed cob walls with a thatched roof and a central brick ridge stack. It has a half-story with three two-light leaded casement windows, and two eyebrow dormers above. A door is situated on the left side, sheltered by a closed wooden porch with a corrugated roof. A single-story lean-to extension with a pantile roof is attached to the left end, featuring a two-light window above. On the right end, there’s a three-light window with a two-light window over.
