Description
Honeysuckle Cottage is a 18th-century cottage located on Gubbins Lane in Braunton. The building is constructed of whitewashed, rendered cob and rubble, topped with a thatched roof featuring rubble and brick stacks at each gable end. It stands two storeys high and has a thatched outshut on the rear left elevation, along with a small 20th-century extension attached. The outshut has a slated lean-to roof at the left gable end. The cottage features three 2-light windows, each with two panes per light, positioned above two similar windows on either side of a central 20th-century door. The windows are hinged centrally. Inside, there is a chamfered lintel above the fireplace, but the interior has been significantly altered.
