Description

There are two pairs of gate piers, along with a wall and railings, located to the east of Number 1 on Lyddington Main Street. These features date from the late 19th century and are made of dressed ironstone. The piers have pale limestone neckings, cornices, and shallow pyramidal caps, with shaped panels on the fronts. The ironstone wall between the piers is topped with iron railings. This structure is included for its group value.
