Description

Gate piers and gates located to the south-east of Number 10 on Highweek Road in Newton Abbot date from the mid-19th century. The gate piers are made of squared Devon limestone and stand approximately 3 meters high, featuring cornices, swept caps, and ball finials. The gates are double wrought-iron with long and short railings and segmental arches on each leaf. These structures are included for their group value with Number 10 Highweek Road.
