The cottage is constructed from coursed rubble stone with quoins, and has a Collyweston slate roof with a moulded central ridge and a stack at the right end. Stone coped gables are present. The front has 1½ storeys, with three 2-light dormers, one including leaded lights. The ground floor features a 3-light casement window, a 3-light stone mullion window with a hood mould, a small 1-light window, and a 2-light casement. A doorway has been blocked, and the current entrance is at the rear. A stone tablet inscribed with "T.T. 1642" is centrally located on the front.
