Description

Ye Old Corner House is a cottage dated 1684. It is built of coursed stone rubble and has a steeply pitched roof covered in Collyweston stone, with gabled ends. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, and has two windows across the front. There are two old gabled dormers with casement windows. The ground floor has two two-light windows with multiple panes, each with a moulded stone cornice. A modern central door is fitted with a cornice. Above the doorway is a tablet inscribed "S.I.M 1684". Internal stone stacks are visible at each end of the building.
