Description

Orchard Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on the south side of Main Street, Barnack. It is constructed of coursed stone with a steeply pitched roof of Collyweston stone, featuring coped gable ends. The cottage is one storey in height with an attic. It has a symmetrical two-window front. The ground floor has two-light casement windows with glazing bars, and a central plank door. There are two gabled dormers in the roof. The internal gable ends have stone stacks. A late 19th-century one-bay brick extension is attached to the north end.
