Description

Orchard House is a cottage dating from the late 17th to 18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone with quoins and features a Collyweston slate roof. The left end of the building has stone and buff brick, while the right end has a red brick stack. The stone-coped gables face the front to the left. The cottage has two storeys, with two 20th-century three-light casement windows and two two-light casement windows, along with a part-glazed door from the 20th century. There is a one-storey extension on the left end. On the right gable facing the lane, there is a first-floor two-light stone mullion window with a hood mould, and above it, a blocked one-light stone frame window. Inside, the cottage features beams.
