Description

This cottage dates from around 1800. It is constructed of roughly-coursed rubble stone with a roof of Collyweston slate and red brick end stacks. The gable end faces onto Chapel Lane, and the house is positioned to the right of the street. The front has two storeys with three casement windows; the central window has three lights and a central opening, with similar windows either side of a four-panelled door which has a two-light window above it. The windows have wooden lintels. A single-storey extension has been added to the right in the 20th century, featuring a catslide roof and further casement windows. Inside, original beams are visible, and the rear has a catslide roof.
