Description

No. 27 Main Street is a cottage dating from around 1800. It is built of coursed rubble stone and features a Collyweston slate roof with a rebuilt buff brick central ridge stack. The cottage has two storeys, with two 2-light horizontal sliding sash windows on the upper floor and a 2-light casement window on the ground floor to the left. There is a 20th-century single-storey extension on the right end and another 2-light window on the left end. At the rear, there is a full-length outshut with a catslide Collyweston slate roof, which includes the entrance door and two windows. The building is included for its group value.
