Description

No 78 is a cottage from the early 19th century, built of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. It features a Collyweston stone slate roof and brick stacks at each end. The building is two storeys high and has a single front. The entrance door is located on the right and is topped by a rectangular fanlight. To the right, there is a lower part of the building that is also two storeys and one window wide. The cottage has a sash window with cills, and the ground floor openings are adorned with flush keystones. The first-floor windows are aligned flush with the eaves. This cottage is included for its group value.
