Description

The Mount is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Collyweston stone slate roof with stone end stacks. The building has two storeys and a double fronted design with a three-window range. The first-floor windows are 16-pane sashes, each with cills and lintels that have projecting keystones. The entrance has a similar but larger lintel, which is partly covered by a 19th-century hood. The door is panelled and includes a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars arranged in a lozenge pattern. There are 19th-century rectangular bay windows on either side of the entrance.
