Description

This is a pair of early 19th-century cottages, although the first floor of the buildings extends slightly beyond those to either side, suggesting an earlier origin. They are built of coursed rubble with a roof of Collyweston stone slates and a stone stack on the left-hand end. Each cottage has a single front, with doors facing inward. There are 3-light iron casement windows with cambered heads and cills; the ground-floor windows have holes indicating they were once fitted with shutters. The doors are boarded.
