Description

Number 43, which includes Jackson's Store, is a house dating from the late 18th century, with a mid-19th century shop. It is constructed of ashlar and features a roof made of Collyweston stone slate, along with stone stacks at each end. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range. The central entrance, now serving as the shop entrance, is framed by delicate pilasters, while there is a canted shop window to the right, also framed in a similar manner. The other window openings have cills and double keystones, although they contain 20th-century windows.
