Description

Manor Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse, potentially with earlier origins. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, and has a roof of Collyweston stone slates on the western slope, and Welsh slates on the eastern, rear slope. Two large stacks project from the western roof slope, and there is a south-end stack. The farmhouse is of 1½ storeys.

The south-facing elevation is divided into bays. A two-storey gabled bay features four-light stone mullioned windows with cornices above each storey. A gabled dormer breaks through the roof, with a 19th-century sash window beneath a timber lintel. To the right of the dormer is a doorway with an ovolo-moulded recess to the left, set within an ashlar section of the wall, and covered by a timber lintel. An outshut and later extensions are attached to the rear.
