Description

No. 27 High Street is a cottage that originated in the 17th century. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Collyweston stone slate roof that has been raised. The building has stone ridge and end stacks and is 1½ stories tall with a three-window range. A panelled door is located in a wooden trellis porch between the central and right-hand bays. The cottage has two-light casement windows with flush keystones above, set within an ashlar band that runs across the front. Additionally, there are three gabled dormers, each with two lights.
