Description

The Vale is a house dated 1837, constructed of rubble stone with an ashlar front. It features a hipped Welsh slate roof with deep eaves and two central ashlar stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a double front with three windows. There is a raised band between the storeys. The windows are set in moulded architraves with double keystones; the first-floor windows are 6/6 sashes, and there is a similar window to the left of the door on the ground floor. To the right, there is a late 19th-century rectangular bay window. The entrance has a Doric distyle porch that encloses a panelled door with a fanlight above.
