Description

No. 55 High Street is an early 19th-century cottage built of coursed rubble with quoins, featuring quoins around the openings. It has a Welsh slate roof and stone end stacks. The cottage is two storeys high, with a central entrance that is sheltered by a wooden gabled trellis work porch. To the left of the entrance, there is a three-light casement window with glazing bars and a cill beneath a timber lintel. To the right, there are two similar two-light windows. On the first floor, there are two similar two-light windows that are flush with the eaves, along with a small central 20th-century window.
