Description

No. 5 The Leas is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a thatched roof with a buff brick stack at the left end and red brick stacks at the central ridge and right end. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has a 3/3 sash eyebrow dormer above a 2-light casement window, along with a 3/3 sash window and a 2/2 sash window. At the rear, there are three similar dormers and a single-storey extension that includes a door and additional windows.
