Description

47 Main Street is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a thatched roof with a red brick central ridge and end stacks. The building has one and a half storeys and includes three 2-light windows. The windows on the left side of both floors are horizontal sliding sashes, while the others are casements. There are eyebrow dormers above. The entrance door is located to the centre right and is accessed by three steps. The cottage has wooden lintels above the windows and door. There is a small 20th-century single-storey extension on the left end. Inside, a chamfered beam remains visible.
