Description

Honeypot Cottage is a 18th-century building located in Cottesmore. It consists of two cottages constructed from coursed rubble stone with a thatched roof, featuring brick stacks at the ends and outside corners. The structure is arranged in an L shape, with a wing projecting to the rear on the left side. It has one and a half storeys and includes a mix of casement and sash windows. The entrance to No. 73 is situated in the right gable end, while the door to Honeypot Cottage is located on the left side. The front facing the street features a 10/10 sash window, a 3-pane window, and a tripartite sash window with a configuration of 4/4, 6/6, and 4/4, topped by a two-light eyebrow dormer. The left side of the cottage has four eyebrow dormers, which are two and three-light, above a three-light casement window, a door, and two additional three-light casements.
