Description

26 and 28 Northgate are mid-18th century cottages that stand two stories tall. The upper storey and side are rendered, while the rear is constructed of brick. The front features three windows, with one being modern, located below to the left in a stone rusticated architrave. The first floor has segmental arches with hung sash windows that include glazing bars and flush frames, along with flat lintels below. The cottages have plain cottage doors and a modern tile roof. These buildings are included for their group value, as they form a cohesive group with Nos 26 to 34 (even).
