Description
35 and 37 Northgate is an early 18th-century house that stands two storeys high with attics. The building features a distinctive chequered brick design in red and blue, topped with stone slates. It has two dormers and three windows that include hung sashes with stone cills and straight brick arches. A stone plinth with capping runs along the base, and there is a stone band that separates the storeys. The central doorway is framed by a cemented architrave and has a modern glass door. To the east, there is a 19th-century extension that is also two storeys tall, featuring two windows and a modern doorway on the ground floor.
