Description

Northgate Farmhouse is a 17th-century building that was originally four cottages but has been converted into a single residence. It is two storeys high and constructed from coursed rubble, with a rebuilt slate roof. The west elevation features an original stone-capped gable. The building has undergone significant alterations; one former door has been changed into a window. There are four windows in total, including two ground floor bays and one two-storey bay, with the other windows being either casement or sliding sash types. A small door hood on brackets is located below a blocked window, and there is a modern door present. Additionally, a garage has been created on the ground floor to the right.
