Description
Bridge Yard Cottages are 18th-century cottages that were formerly in multiple occupation. They are constructed of flint with brick dressings and have a roof covered in red pantiles. The building is two storeys high with six irregular bays. The eastern end features 20th-century windows and a door. The western end has two bays, with the first floor added in brick to an earlier house. On the ground floor, there is a three-light cast iron casement window with glazing bars and a segmental brick arch. The first floor has two two-light casement windows, also with glazing bars. The cottages have a simple brick dentil cornice and gable stacks, along with coped brick parapets. There is a single-storey flint lean-to with a pantiled roof on the western side. The cottages are included for their group value.
