Description

The barn behind Bridge Cottages is a structure dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features red brick walls and a roof covered with red pantiles. The barn is divided into three sections with a rear porch and has two storeys. There are four ventilation openings, three of which have been filled in, while one retains honeycomb brick ventilation holes. The first floor has two openings equipped with shutters. A central cart entrance is present, along with a brick plat-band string course at the first floor level, brick dentil eaves, and a cornice. The barn also has brick parapets and tumbled gables.
