Description

This is a pair of houses built around 1845. They are constructed of brick with a plastered front, ashlar stone detailing, and a slate roof. The building has brick chimney stacks on the ridge and gable ends. Architectural details include a plinth, eaves cornice, and a blocking course. The design is in the Italianate style. The windows are original sash windows.

The houses are two storeys high with attic space, and have a four-window front. The front is symmetrical, with a projecting central section topped by a pediment flanked by large pilasters. The central section features two large windows divided into three lights, each topped with a pediment. Above these, there are two triple windows with rounded tops. Above these again is a smaller two-light window, also with a rounded top. The side sections have renewed front doors with fanlights above, and single round-arched windows above the doors, each with a giant pilaster.
