Pair of attached houses. c1840. Stucco with limestone dressings, central brick stack and pantile hipped roof. Double-depth plan. Italianate style. 3 storeys, basement and attic; 4-window range. A symmetrical pair, with broad pilasters at the corners and centre of the central block to a frieze and cornice and an attic with a coped parapet, and 2-storey outer blocks with 1 window, cornice and stele-shaped parapet. Doorways in the end returns have scrolled consoles to canopies, doors with 2 oval panels, and semicircular-arched stair lights with margin panes toward the rear. The central block has tripartite ground-floor windows with cornices and wreathed, pediment lintels, and 6/6-pane sashes flanked by 4/4-pane sashes; the rest have architraves, with 6/6-pane sashes on the first floor and ground floor to the sides, 3/3-panes in the attic and 2/4-panes in the outer blocks.
