Description
Nos. 2A and 4 on Gregory Street are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century, with some alterations and additions made in the mid-20th century. The houses are constructed of stucco, featuring ashlar dressings and roofs made of concrete tiles. They have side wall and ridge stacks and are designed in the Gothick style. A plinth runs along the base of the buildings. The windows are primarily pointed arched casements, adorned with flat-headed moulded surrounds and label moulds. The houses are two storeys high and have a U-plan layout, with three windows across and two windows down on the street front. Each floor has two 2-light windows. The returns of the houses feature a central 20th-century door, flanked by 3-light windows. On the left return, there is a 20th-century sidelight next to the door, and above it is a 2-light window flanked by 3-light windows.
