Description

Nos. 61 and 63 on Hope Street are two houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of stucco and topped with a slate roof. Each house has three storeys and a basement, featuring three bays. The ground floor displays channelled rustication, and all windows are sashed with glazing bars and have architraves. The entrances are framed by panelled wood architraves. There is a cornice above, along with a first-floor entablature that includes paterae. The top of the building is finished with a frieze, cornice, and blocking course. Decorative area railings with heads surround the properties.
