Description
No. 50 Upper Parliament Street is a house built in the 1820s. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys tall with a basement and features three bays. There is a basement lintel band, a first floor sill band, a top frieze and cornice, and a blocking course that is slightly raised over the central bay. The windows have wedge lintels and are sashed without glazing bars. The central entrance is accentuated by an Ionic porch and has paired three-panel doors. Above the entrance, there is a window with an architrave, frieze, and cornice. The property is enclosed by plain iron railings to the area and steps.
