Description

Vine Cottage is an early 19th-century house located in Gregory Street, Lenton, Nottingham. It is built of brick with a stuccoed front and has hipped slate roofs, featuring a rear wall stack. The design is in a Gothick style. The house has a plinth and mainly pointed arched casement windows with glazing bars, set within moulded flat-headed surrounds. It is two storeys high, with a three-window range. The layout is L-shaped. A central square porch has a hipped roof and a pointed arched doorway with glazed double doors; an inner door is studded and flat-headed. Flanking the porch are two-light windows. Above, three smaller two-light windows are visible. The right return side has a similar two-light window on each floor. A rear wing features two similar windows to the first floor.
