Description

This is a pair of late 18th-century houses, now offices, located on Derby Road, Nottingham. The buildings are constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and have a slate roof with two gable stacks. They stand three storeys high plus a basement, and have a three-window frontage. The windows are largely glazing bar sashes with brick flat arches. A plinth and first-floor sill band run along the front. The central doorway is round-arched and rebated, with an eight-panel door and a Gothic fanlight, flanked by windows set in round-arched recesses. Above the doorway, the upper floors feature three windows each, with the second-floor windows being smaller in size. The basement is rendered and has central brick and stone steps, and a late 20th-century window to the right.
