Description

Park House is a late 19th-century house located on Cavendish Crescent North, Nottingham. The house is constructed of red brick with ashlar and terracotta dressings, and has plain tile roofs with panelled side wall and ridge stacks. It features a plinth and bargeboards to the gables, along with tie beams and arch braces. The building is two storeys high and originally had a 3:1 window arrangement. Most windows contain leaded glazing. The main gable on the left side has a framework of terracotta mullions and transoms within which the window openings are set. The ground floor features a door with sidelights, with stair windows positioned above. The first floor originally contained three single windows. The intermediate panels between the windows include terracotta relief ornaments. A projecting gable on the right side has a shallow, two-storey canted bay window set under the bargeboard. The ground floor of the bay has two cross casement windows with mullions and transoms. Four terracotta relief panels are situated between the ground and first floors. On the first floor of the bay, there are two glazing bar windows separated by a major mullion with shafts.
