Description
The Grove is an 18th-century brick house located at 130 Knighton Road. It features a steeply pitched Swithland slate roof with gabled ends. The building has a moulded brick eaves cornice and a string course at the first-floor cill level. It is two storeys high with an attic and has three bays. The windows are sashes with glazing bars set in segmental arched openings. There is a central plain doorway. At the rear, there is a catslide roof over a single-storey wing, as well as another single-storey wing with a hipped slate roof. A later brick two-storey addition with a lean-to roof is located at the south end. Additionally, there is a range of brick and slate outbuildings adjoining the north end.
